KAYAKING, CANOEING, TUBING
The French Broad River has several sections with some very calm areas for easy family paddling as well as whitewater sections rated from levels 2 to 4… something for everyone.
WHITEWATER RAFTING
There are several companies offering guided whitewater rafting out of Marshall and Hot Springs in Madison County, just up the road. Riverside Escapes staff are happy to help you schedule a rafting trip.
ROAD BIKING
Old Marshall Highway, also known as NC Hwy 251, is a historic road which follows the river from Asheville to Madison County. Bikers from all over the United States travel to Asheville and train along this stretch of biker heaven.
